On behalf of the Board of Directors of the New York State Neurological Society (NYSNS), I would like to invite you to become a member of our Society. In the current health care and economic climate, your support is critical to ensure that our society remains strong. If you are already a member, now is the time to renew your membership. In conjunction with the American Academy of Neurology, we are planning a New York State Conference with an exciting agenda, and intend to make this an annual event;
NYSNS gives you access to all New York neurologists, providing a means to address both medical and practice issues with your colleagues;
With healthcare reform high on the agenda for the new administration, neurologists need a strong and unified voice within our own state. Through your support and participation, you will help ensure that the NYSNS will maintain its important advocacy role for Neurology in Albany. This is critically important on legislative and regulatory issues as well as providing NYSNS members with the opportunity for appointment to important and prestigious statewide boards, councils, commissions and similar entities.
